Please some one has take a lead. I know a very good attorney i.e. Visanow.com. We should try to contact them and find out what are possibility we have to remove the country cap.

All,
I've to complete my landing in next 2 weeks before my visa expires.
I've to come back immediately and I need an Alerta address while entering Canada where CIC would send my PR card. I tried hard but couldn't find anyone known in Alberta.
Can someone help me here? Please let me know if you know someone who lives in Alberta and can courier my PR card to me in USA after receiving it.
Would really really appreciate any help on this.

Finally we have decided to go back to India for good. I filed my EB3 in May 2003. Its going to be another 4 years to get the green card. When I went to India for vacation last December, we liked it over there & the economy is booming. There are all sorts of discussion regarding the Economic Gap/Politics/Corruption/Cleanliness. But we like it over there. Finally I will have an option to do something interesting. In US I was very much dependent on my monthly pay check and afraid to take even the slightest risk. I am also scared to use the AC21(Hey, thats the way I am). I am working with the same company for last 10 years, kinda stagnant in the last 4 years. In India, there are lots of choices, either to work for a sw company or start some business on my own. I think I will take the business route.
May be I can go there, earn well, send my son to US for college, do green card through him & come retire in US!!!

Good decision. I was opposed to going back but I think its good to do just that. You see lot of folks going back after getting their citizenship.

Eb3-I would move much slower then snail's pace.
My PD is Jan 04, so I am not sure how many years would it take for my PD to be current. :(
god knows how many years...but one thing i'm sure for my GC will come after 12 Years ...
My son is 6 years old on this 12th Sep 2009 and he will file for my GC at the age of 18...
till then no worry ...enjoy with kids....

Except EAD checks, cashed all other checks on 9/20/2007(FP,485, AP and I have the receipt numbers). Does any body have similar issue...?

I do not think transfer matters. Mine was filed directly with TSC because my lawyers reason: my I-140 was approved from there.

I am guessing that we will probably receive similar response as posted by sweet_jungle that they are waiting for local ASC. I don't think we will receive FP after notice 30 days but this kind of response. Maybe local ASC are scheduling peoples appointment based on their name check results. Otherwise why would people who applied on last day of filing , Aug 16,2007 receive FP notice from my local ASC and not me.

Just saw my cheque cashed.. I think it got transferred over to TSC. I sent to NSC on Jul 2. And yes i had LUD in my I-140 as 7/28
can you tell by the images of cashed checks that were they cashed by TSC or NSC... or any kind of SRC# or LIN# on them to indicated whether it was cashed by TSC or NSC?

AS for GC, I have a coworker whose dad, the primary applicant , passed away, and only 1 dependent was able to continue process and just recently got his GC. Most likely, your wife will not be forced to return home.
Stay strong and positive!

I understand the momentum here....not trying to rain on a parade or anything...but shouldnt we be a little practical. How long is litigation going to take? Wont only naive lawyers even take this up?
USCIS can always pull the security reason trump card here.
moreover, during the last quarter...in the effort to not waste visas, low hanging easy to approve cases with later priority dates have gotten approved. wudnt u rather have that than visas going waste?
We have been patient for a very long time....lets see how the dates move in the 1st 2 quarters of fiscal 09.
My personal suggestion....stop worrying aout GC...there are much bigger things in life to worry about. :)

even if the law was interpreted incorrectly by the lawyer ...I wonder if they can do a admin fix ??? this is definitely beneficial for many people ..for e.g. those who are homeowners, etc etc ...atleast the primary spouse can change fields etc etc
