Actually, because it is indefinite, it makes the case stronger that these people are here indefinitely and so should not be restricted in employment opportunities. Just got email. No card yet.
Current Status: Card production ordered.
On July 26, 2008, we ordered production of your new card

The lud happened on 7/27/2008.
I got my card today.
It starts on the next day of my old cards expiry date.
Validity is for one year only though.

I know Spouse's PD will be same as Primary's PD . But good for people who filled 485. If person has latest PD let says Aug 2007 (Eb2 india ) .. Under Eb category he may be able to file 485. But dependent may not be able to file 485 as Family quota is backlogged. Family quota also has PD and category. Under which category spouses of primary will fall ? F2A ? F2B ? do you know this ?

As far i know in the whole world, nobody thinks about the group unless it is beneficial to himself(herself) first. This is natural human mentality, there is nothing wrong in it. Only exception is "Saints". I don't think we are Saints.

No one can claim to be 'superior' by virtue of their EB classification and take refuge under the current system by preaching that "it is what it is, you accepted it, so play by it!". What a sudden love fest for a system that you cared to fix not too long ago? So, what changed? The sudden realization that there are a few erudite and vocal EB3 I's that can speak their mind and ask the difficult questions?!

Just goes to prove that if the current system goes to serve YOUR narrow self interest, you will go to no end to justify it AND defend it... even at the cost of creating deep divides amongst a larger group. Suddenly, your sense of outrage has been channeled against EB3 I's seeking a voice and not against the 'system' that you claimed to care fixing. Nice. Lets get together to help fix this problem. Let EB3 I's find their voice and make the appeals that they need to. They DO NOT need the approval or outrage of EB2's trying to protect their new found turf. Get the drift?
Many EB3 I's have waited 5+ years in dead end jobs and possibly single incomes only to see EB2 come hither and walk easy. No jealousy or blame. Just the hard question to those that holler back "dont complaint EB2 was meant to be a higher category" ... want to respond to a "higher calling" ... i.e., holding up your petitions to objective scrutiny not prejudiced by narrow goals?
After all, one would find that MOST work done by EB2 I's does not really require a Masters degree. Just ask a high school Java whizkid.
I rest my case and will not waste my time responding to emotional outbursts or getting dragged into the cesspit of poor logic. Got it?

In fact both her and her desi consulting company know the immigration laws too well and have found loopholes to take advantage of it, which is morally wrong. Now tell me if it is wrong when I say this; If you know you are going out of status because you do not have a job, and you still do not change your status back to H4 in the hopes that you'll eventually land a job, then you have no right to stay in this country.
Please refrain from bringing in the refugees, their struggle and hardships and try to dilute what I have been saying in this entire thread!

What drives the decision for a bill to be considered in Congress/Senate? WHY can't we pitch SKIL or TALENT Bills as a means to separate legal immigration from the ongoing CIR debate?
If politicians are introducing these bills, they should be willing to back them up separtely instead of saying that these come into picture only if CIR fails. Or is the introduction of other bills a sign of CIR's imminent failure? Since the top IV team has the visibility with politicians, this hypocrisy should be resolvable. Please tell us why these bills cannot be taken up while CIR is pending? Isn't that what the lobbying company is supposed to help us with?

Yes, case was originally filed at NSC on July 2nd and on august 24th it got transferred to TSC.
Does the transfer matter here, because dingudi's case is not a transfer case and he's still waiting...
I am in the same boat. 485 filed at NSC on July 12, sent to TSC on September 7th. EAD/AP filed on Aug 9 at NSC and they are still in NSC.
I have AP approved and EAD pending. No FP notice yet either. Its been more than 45 days since opening a SR for that for both me and my wife. System sucks. I have been to the local ASC 3 times with no results.
Again I am not sure if the fact that my 485 is in TX and EAD/AP is in NE is cauing all the problems.

Retaining your PD, using a new I-140, is not the same as Labor substitution. There are several members who have successfully ported their PD, and may be able to advise you better.

1) First you file a lawsuit that prevents fellow Eb3's from porting to Eb2 at a later date, even though those individuals may have advanced in their careers and would be eligible for better jobs.
2) Now that you have successfully broken a united community into two factions, you want the IV core to now further take up the "Eb2 cause" against the USCIS, because YOU cannot file a lawsuit against the USCIS (the 500 pound gorilla) an organization that doesnt give a c**p about the immigrants and even its own internal processing "rule"?
3) Let me ask you, WHY should the IV core help ONLY the Eb2 at this point. You and some other Eb2 members were and are flexing your muscles against the Eb3 members who have been suffering in the EXACT same manner. What exactly have YOU contributed towards uniting the Legal employment based community and what have YOU done to help the Core team so far, that you now ask the core team to specifically take the Eb2 non-sequential processing up with the law-makers?
If you see a problem with the non-sequential processing, why dont YOU write to your own senators/congressmen and ask them to follow up on your individual case?
One more thing, if you are planning on replying back saying that "This is my last post on IV" so be it. IV does not need members who think of just themselves. And yes if you are planning on giving me red/gray/green dots please feel free to do so.
