Then he made a decision: Case approvable pending visa availability!

I,m July filer for I140/I485 and have not received my EAD yet so I visited local office and lady officer gave me Ticket number and ask me you can use this number to see the activity on my case regarding this latest request on the uscis website.
I have no clue where to put in this number...Anyone with suggestion or similar situation..

This is a suggestion for members using AILA tool. While we appreciate AILA for creating these useful tools, IV is not part of this AILA campaign.
If you want to use the AILA tool. Use your own letter and not AILA letter. Make sure not to use words like 'H1B' and 'illegal/undocumented' in the letter. Lawmaker offices will look at it and will not even care to read it fully. They will assume it is for H1B increase or about illegal immigration. Sometimes you will get an automated reply that has nothing to do with your issues you raised in your letter.

and some of them do not use H1B word at all. They are totally focussed on 'Green card'. You can choose to use any one of them. As we see the progress on CIR IV will have its own webfax and call the lawmakers campaign.

The agency drafted and has been seeking the OMB approval for proposed regulation to require pre-registration of the H-1B petitions, apparently as part of its business transformation transition program. It appears that the proposed pre-registration requirement in the H-1B petition process may not bring a drastic impact on the H-1B petitioning employers and the alien beneficiaries. However, its agenda for requiring I-485 applicants to pre-register their intents to file I-485 applications regardless of the visa number availability in the Visa Bulletin will have a significant impact on the immigrants because the proposed rule would discontinue the concurrent filing process for employment-based adjustment of status applicants and would require that an alien seeking to immigrate based upon a classification that is subject to numerical limitations must be the beneficiary of an approved immigrant petition prior to proceeding through a revised adjustment of status process. In plain language, it means that it would terminate the current I-140 and I-485 concurrent filing procedure. The agency justification was to streamline the overall I-485 process and to mitigate visa retrogression through improved estimation of immigrant visa availability. This proposal is still in the vault of the USCIS rule-making agenda with the initial estimation of the proposed rule initiation action in October 2010. We have no information as to whether or not the agency will keep this schedule or will rather turn it over to FY 2011. Whether it initiates sooner or later, it will not have an immediate impact on the foreign workers seeking a green card as the rule-making process will drag into months to come in year 2011. But this is something one has to keep an eye on the development of the USCIS schedules of changes in application procedures. this is in response to some who say what if India does this and that ...the point is that India will do nothing. In general we have passive leaders and our PM is a great example of that - if it was done against china then immediately there would have retaliation. in some ways it is good if it stops the misuse ...I guess the biggest losers in this are the lawyers - more lawyer shops will close down

My lawyer filed the I-485, EAD and AP package for me and my wife. She put a G-28 notice for each application (with our and her signatures). She missed signing the AP G-28 for my wife. I asked her about this. She said it should be fine. They would not consider her notice of representation for this particular case, and would mail the AP approval directly at our home address.
I hope we are fine and our application doesn't get rejected since we had one check for all the applications.

It was mentioned last month in the AINP website that some changes would be there in the NOC list after April 15. Everybody whoever followed this thread saw the message earlier. On April 15 they removed the message from AINP website and apparantly there was no change in NOC list till now. OP gave us correct information when he/she created this thread. See my post in April 15 in this thread and I mentioned that nothing was changed in NOC list. Again going back to my original question did you follow this thread from start? I objected to this comment "I donno why people place messages with Half Knowledge". Apparantly you had the half knowlodge about this whole issue.

I was playing around with it again tonight - I posted a couple more examples in the gallery area, under "landscapes".
This is not a plugin, persay. It's a PaintShop Pro script - not PhotoShop. Here's what the script does:
Split to RGB, discard G & B
"Clarify" (twice) at a high value to deepen the contrast range.
Adjusts the luminance channel to further enhance contrast.
Colorizes the image with a hue value of 160 and saturation a low setting of 20 to slightly shift grays towards blues.
I then added the original full-color image in as a layer and merged the two with partial opacity in (I think) "hue" mode.
The Clarify operation gives it an "old" look by accentuating and muddling the contrast. The lumininance adjustment makes the overall appearance more 'harsh'. The shift towards blue tends to simulate a bit of fading (like an old snaphot, I guess).
The painting-like effect comes from merging in the colors from the original.

You can not return into USA using expired AP. In order to use new AP which you have already applied. It should be approved before you leave USA.

I am sure we have lot of technical experts and get this implemented, very well.

If a corporation sponsors money then most probably there will be some tax advantage. I do know IV�s tax code. Consulting companies could pay IV from our company account.
Physicians
We can identify all our physician members and provide help for members and their parents in need. In turn the members who had taken help could contribute to IV�s good cause, in terms of funds, taking part in activities, etc. Hi the concept is very simple, if you had gone to a doctor, you will end up spending 2 hr waiting to see the doctor and then pay 150 to talk to them for 15 min. We will help you and intern you help us, or may be help yourself if you are a person going through the GC process. I can take initiative for this task, my wife is a physician and I know 20 other doctors who are in the GC process.

In turn the members who had taken help could contribute to IV�s good cause, in terms of funds, taking part in activities, etc. Hi the concept is very simple, if you had gone to a doctor, you will end up spending 2 hr waiting to see the doctor and then pay 150 to talk to them for 15 min. We will help you and intern you help us, or may be help yourself if you are a person going through the GC process. I can take initiative for this task, my wife is a physician and I know 20 other doctors who are in the GC process.

I checked UK Embassy web site this weekend. Apparently they ask for original certificates while taking application for HSMP. That is a sticking point with me. Also could someone suggest a good site to look for UK jobs? What are the pros and cons? Any ideas on the life style in UK? What is the impact of latest terror plots on life etc ...
