My attorney is taking his owwwwn time.. Could there be any reasons for this?
He is usually very prompt and quick to act. But this time, he is taking forever to file my I-485/EAD/AP..

I would request as whole us know that CIR will not comeup this yeat..I would request if there is any plan IV is mkaing in this regard. I dont think waiting until end of July and then proceed for new bill is good way...
I would request to look for some alternatives from now itself..atleast filing 485 under retrogression and 3 year ead/ap..
any thoughts about this?

A note to my fellow IV members - I am not after the $42/Hr job. Good luck in finding a US citizen to do this job. I was wrong about EEO, it is actually IRCA which prohibits discrimination in recruitment and hiring.

As per web page on this link -Do allow all employees (including non-U.S. citizens) to provide any permissible documents to establish their identity or work authorization during the employment verification process.This will exclude applicants on H-1B visa status as they don't have work authorization to work for the new employer.
However, as I said before, Employer can not discriminate between GC holder, EAD, and OPT holder.

Yes.
We have thousands here. We take just 1000 people and if everyone contributes 100 dollars - its 100,000 dollars. Just an estimate for lawyer fees incase we get that far
We are from BHARAT. Its a loaded statement. WE dont lose.

Hi SKK, it is not really required to have finger printed to get teh EAD approval. (i am talking aboutthe first time EAD). Your FP may come later on. At least in my case it was like that. I got my EAD approval first and later on only the FP came. Hope this helps ...

I-140 is for future job, and the petition says that the original employer has *intent* to hire the petitioner on FT/"perm" job. Now, let's say the original employer withdraws the petition after 180 days of filing I-485 and approved I-140 and lets you go. That's where AC21 comes to rescue, and you can become "self-employed" rather than "unemployed." Question is, why can't self-employment in same/similar occupation as your I-140 petition be considered to satisfy I-140 requirement? (Fortunately, yes it can be, per Yates memo.) Another situation: If you continue working with the same employer on H-1B until you get your GC, and leave him the next day of getting GC, and then plan to take a long holiday (not working). Would your GC be canceled because you don't have a FT/"perm" job?

Correct me If I am wrong
out of 45K members let's assume 22.5 K are EB2 and 22.5 K are EB3.
Even If 11.25K (EB2)+11.25K (EB3) = 22.5 K (Total) contributes $25 Each Problems gets solved ... but the catch is ....
Even 11.25 K EB2 members are not contributing because they don't have to as their problem is solved
Even 11.25 K EB3 members are not contributing because they are not sure even with this contribution their problems gets solved.
Many people are saying that EB3 members are not contributing that's why you are lagging etc...
EB3 Members who contributed are feeling the pain because even after contribution they are not getting the results and EB2 members who didn't contributed are getting the results...
I think I am now quite clear about the cause of all our backlogs :D. You said it dude, people who see their issues resolved are less likely to contribute. I guess by the same argument it is safe to assume if EB3 were getting approved faster, they would be contributing even less, as are EB2 right now, right?

I have a question from members who are getting ADIT Processing message. When did you file your I-485's? I am trying to figure out if USCIS is approving cases for those who filed recently w/o waiting for the ADIT or is it that the case was filed long time back and the previous ADIT has expired.

Congratulations..my application was received by NSC on July 2nd too, and I haven't received anything yet..hope i will get it sometime soon...so are all the applications that went to NSC on July2nd are getting transfered to TSC ??

I hope it is true. NSC is lazy man. They cannot process more than that a day. if not there will be a retrogression/backlog here in receipts too.:(

Even though right now FB2 is not far behind the gap will progressively increase due to post given below. Consider 2 glasses half full. If you pour 50% water from 1 glass to another 1 glass will be 75% full(EB) and other glass will be 25%full(FB).
Our intention is to findout if CIS interpretation is correct. If spouse can stay in the country with EAD and AP and if Primary gets GC first. It won't matter much becos, that EAD will not have any strings attached on same or similar etc. So we should be OK.
